Some of the above markings are legally required depending on the type of candle. Therefore, not every candle uses the full set of the above markings. Some of the markings are used at our discretion to improve safety of use.

Older batches of our candles and batches with older packaging (according to the pro-ecological approach of our company - we do not throw away old packaging unless clearly necessary) may contain markings in accordance with the EN 15494:2008 standard - some pictograms have a slightly different graphic design, but the general meaning remains same.

Candles are marked as required by rof Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 Of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals and establishing a European Chemicals Agency (REACH regulation for short) and art. 44 Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008 on classification, labeling and packaging of substances and mixtures, (hereinafter referred to as the CLP regulation).

This means that the packaging also has additional information about the candle depending on the fragrance and its chemical composition based on the safety data sheets for a given fragrance. Thus, information on composition and hazards may be posted.

Przytnij knot - In order to enjoy candles properly, they must be handled properly. Before starting to smoke, trim the wick to a length of 0.5 - 1 cm above the paraffin level. Thanks to this, the candle will burn better, the too long wick will not smoke and the risk in the case of sleeved candles that we will additionally damage the foil with graphics will decrease.

Burn a candle in the right place - Choosing a place is important for burning a candle. Do not burn the candle in a draft or in the open air. The wind can distort the shape of the flame, not only lead to a fire, but more often to bad burning of the candle, smoke, destruction of the graphics on the candle. In turn, too little oxygen access to the candle may result in fading, not burning the candle or the extinguishing and drowning of the wick in molten paraffin.

Put it on something under a candle or put it in a lantern – Candles heat up while burning, and free-standing candles, e.g. cylinders, can additionally "drip" wax onto the ground. This way it is easy to damage furniture or cause a fire.

We put markings on our new packaging to draw attention to proper disposal.

segregacja

Remember to dispose of the candle remains after use.

Glass element - The school is disposed of in accordance with local disposal regulations. Depending on the city/municipality, it can be a basket or a bag for colorless glass or for mixed glass when there is no separate segregation. Verona candle glasses can be successfully used as kitchen glasses.

When a candle (eg miral, Verona ...) has a foil with graphics on it, it should be removed beforehand and disposed of in accordance with the segregation of rubbish - yellow bin or segregated waste bag.

Remaining wick plaque should be cleaned of paraffin residues and disposed of in accordance with local regulations - in a separate metal bag or, if not, in a yellow mixed plastic waste bag.
